Holly Camponez

A few of my favorite things:

Interior Designer: Studio DB (Britt and Damian Zunino)

Architect: Anthoni Gaudi. I absolutely love how his work insists on centralizing beauty, color, imagination, and whimsy.

Food: I'm a sucker for soup and sourdough. Gazpacho in the summer and anything creamy and vegetable heavy in the winter.

Beverage: A whiskey ginger with good bourbon.

Words I'm Inspired By: At all costs, protect and cultivate joy.

Book: Brideshead Revisited by Evelyn Waugh

Film: The Royal Tenenebaums and/or Life Aquatic by Wes Anderson

Vacation Destination: The Maldives

Local Place to Visit: Estes Park

Advice that's stuck with me: My parents always told me the secret to their happy marriage (and life in general) is: When you mess up - and you will - don't wait to long to say your sorry and get back to having fun.

Holly Camponez brings the same enthusiasm and vibrant outlook to her work as she does to her life. A natural leader and connector, she has built a rich, multifaceted career that has established her as a global design leader, keynote speaker, founder and CEO of Sunshine & Sunshine (a boutique consulting and executive search firm), and a trusted source of expertise for clients across tech and residential real estate. Inviting, intrinsically organized, and often described as effortlessly aligned, Holly matches solutions to complex problems while keeping her clients' well-being at the center of her work.

Inspired early in her career by the impact of great marketing, Holly built a $12M design services organization from the ground up, consulting for some of the world's most influential brands, including Apple, Starbucks, Tory Burch, Matterport, and Walmart. She went on to serve as Managing Director for .Design, where she led every aspect of the organization — from recruiting and business development to marketing, client relations, operations, and delivery. Soon after, becoming Global VP of Design at Avenue Code, overseeing a team of more than 7,000 people across 6 countries and 3 continents.

Holly has always aimed to do more. Today, you can find her building a successful residential real estate portfolio in Northern Colorado while leading Sunshine & Sunshine—with a common thread of creating connections and careful matchmaking between human beings, their homes, and their careers.

Supporting clients in their homes, companies, and lives mirrors Holly's intentional, holistic approach to life—a philosophy and dedication to joy she fosters at home with her husband, Renan, and their children, Arthur and Carol.

Outside of a well-constructed schedule, you can find Holly reading, writing, hiking, biking, camping, rock climbing, fine dining, and traveling to see loved ones in Brazil, Canada, and Europe.

Our 3-Phased Marketing Strategy

Compass Is Giving Homeowners the Same Advantages as Real Estate Developers and Professional Homebuilders

The marketing strategies that Compass supports are not novel or new. In fact, they have been used by the largest and most successful group of sellers in the industry—professional homebuilders and real estate developers. They have a sophisticated playbook on how to sell homes, and just like some homeowners, have properties they want to advertise that aren’t ready to be shown. Here are the key things they do:

Test Aspirational Pricing

They test an aspirational price or validate a pricing strategy privately before listing on the MLS.

Living room with a white sectional, patterned chairs, and an exposed wood ceiling beam.

Harness the Power of Pre-Marketing

Find a Real Estate Agent

They pre-market while staging and preparing the home to create interest and anticipation before it's ready to launch.

Craftsman-style home with an orange shingled gable, covered porch, and curved walkway across the lawn.

Learn from Engagement Insights From the Listing Page

They learn from the data and analytics they get from their websites, including property page views, visits, and engagement insights.

COMPASS office exterior with a white-brick facade and a person entering.

Protect and Control Their Data

They control which websites their photos, address, and data appear on and protect their data.

Modern interior with a sculptural staircase and glass-enclosed wine cellar.

Pre-Marketing by the Numbers

Our research shows that Compass-sold homes that are pre-marketed before going active on the MLS, on average, are associated with these results:

2.9%

Higher Closing Price

20%
