Boulder is located at the base of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, at an elevation of 5,430 feet above sea level. Boulder is 25 miles northwest of the Colorado state capitol of Denver. It is home to the main campus of the University of Colorado, the state's largest university. Tucked into a picturesque valley below the iconic Flatirons, Boulder is an incredible place to live, work and play.
